Provide day-to-day supervision of the employee relations leave administration function to ensure that all Sheetz, Inc. employees are treated fairly and consistently, in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations, and the high ideals of Sheetz.
1. Maximize the development of internal talent through regular performance coaching, performance reviews, and presenting developmental opportunities, while promoting a positive culture
2. Coach direct reports to maximize development of internal talent.
3. Coordinate the administration of leave of absence and short-term disability to ensure consistent alignment with the high ideals of Sheetz.
4. Provide approval for routine leave of absence and short-term disability requests and escalate more complex situations to the department leadership.
5. Assist the Legal Department regarding the company’s response to EEOC complaints, litigation, etc.
6. Provide daily support to the Leave of Absence (LOA) Administration Teams to ensure compliance with company policy and escalate more complex issues to department leadership.
7. Serve as a trainer/presenter at various company orientations or training programs.
8. Assist in Employee Relations projects and initiatives that support overall company goals and objectives as assigned.

Education
• Associate’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
Experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Human Resource or related field to include experience in the administration of leave of absence and/or employee benefit programs required.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred
