3rd shift position with a two-week rotating schedule. Scheduled includes every other weekend and some holidays.
Provides administrative, technical, and safety support to the SDS Drivers and Delivery Assistants.
1. First point of contact for Drivers and DAs while on route. Document and log communication from Drivers and Stores. Alert Management as needed or follow a predetermined action plan to ensure Store and Driver satisfaction
2. Liaison between Driver, Driver Manager and Ryder Customer Support for road side assistance
3. Monitor and evaluate product temperatures on SBK routes via device monitoring system. Alert Drivers and follow operational procedures to ensure product being delivered is with-in food safety guidelines
4. Complete end of route processes including order posting and compiling credit information from trip sheets
5. Support inbound freight deliveries when receiving desk is closed
6. Operate multiple systems to prepare DC & SBK route data for Electronic Logging Devices and Proof of Delivery Scanners.
7. Assist Drivers with Electronic Logging Devices and Proof of Delivery Scanners; trouble shoot errors, assign replacements and log tickets when service is needed
8. Create and distribute DC & SBK daily route packets; which includes bills of lading for regular orders, hazardous materials BOLs, special requests, etc.
9. Reconcile monthly p-card statements and review expenses for layovers and meals. Report any overages or mis-use of p-cards to Supervisor
10. Complete additional tasks as assigned
