Security Operations Supervisor

Supervise and support Security Operations Specialists and provide safety and security to store, corporate employees, and customers by monitoring and responding to alarm signals during shifts.

1. Oversee shift to ensure daily operation is efficient and completed by outlined policies.
2. Assist in the proper handling of day-to-day staffing concerns that may arise.
3. Handle call offs that arise: finding coverage for shift; notifying management of call off; documentation of call off
4. Provide information for weekly meeting with manager to review shift issue, needs and concerns.
5. Serve as a technical and information expert for Security Operations Specialists
6. Participate in quarterly meetings, providing training on various topics, as requested.
7. Review open service desk calls to ensure proper workload completion, proper documentation, calls are classified correctly and not missing information; ensuring priority calls are handled in a timely manner and bring issues forward to Manager and/or Assistant Manager.
8. Perform all duties and responsibilities of the Security Operations Specialist when needed, as documented in the Security Operations Specialist job description.

Education

• High School Diploma/GED required

• Related Technical / Trade training / Sheetz training required 
• Bachelor’s degree in business, criminology, or a related field preferred. 

Experience

• Minimum 2 years security-related experience required
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience preferred
