Support Facilities Assistant Project Manager

Assist in Managing the planning, implementation, and financial tracking for assigned programs and projects for any Non-Store facility relating to construction or equipment needs of the facility.

1. Define the project scope and prepare a detailed work plan for completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.
2. Solicit and review RFP’s, prepare purchase orders and contract documents. Assist in the negotiation and awarding of contracts.
3. Utilize estimating software, historical data, and cost data to prepare detailed estimates for assigned projects, monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures and monitor cash flow projections vs actual cash flow.
4. Adhere to processes and procedures to document all project activities and set up files to keep project information is secure.
5. Assist in documenting the progress of projects and make necessary adjustments as needed to ensure the successful completion of the projects in multiple zones.
6. Ensure all projects meet or exceed State and Federal OSHA requirements as well as Sheetz internal safety requirements.
7. Interface with Regional Project Manager, 3rd party Architect and Engineering Firms and the Engineering and Permitting departments to review drawings and perform constructability analysis for potential cost savings.
8. Provide schedule updates and feedback for assigned projects at project review meetings.

The education, experience and license/certification requirements represent the MINIMUM requirements necessary to perform the functions of this position successfully.

Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction / Project Management or related field required.

Experience
• Minimum 4 years commercial construction management / project management / estimating required.

Licenses/Certifications (With the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment and/or job acceptance)

• Valid Drivers License required
• CPR/ First Aid required
