Provides expert level project management services and supports multiple major (cross-functional) initiatives as well as corporate strategic initiatives and corporate strategy goals to attain process improvement goals. A driver for the company and department able to guide ideas from inception, through development, create and manage the project plan and implementation process, and ultimately ensure the delivery of the solution.
1. Responsible for driving multiple larger scale process improvement efforts using appropriate techniques (Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen/Plan Do Check Act (PDCA)/Total Quality Management (TQM)/Five Whys Analysis/ Business Process Management (BPM)/etc).
2. Highly versatile, agile learner, able to learn, question, and dive into any opportunity.
3. Displaying both breadth and depth, provides expert process improvement advice and counsel to both project sponsors on project team and when mentoring less experienced process improvement personnel.
4. Develops process improvement project plans independently to achieve sponsor buy-in.
5. Able to cross departmental lines to align team for project success.
6. Performs assignments independently. Acts on own initiative and awareness of Sheetz internal dynamics, market conditions, and technical innovations to provide solutions to problems before they occur.
7. Informs management of progress as scheduled and/or on a need-to-know basis and drives solutions to ensure process improvement project completion.
8. Balances resources, schedules, and financial factors while solving problems with multi-discipline approach.

The education, experience and license/certification requirements represent the MINIMUM requirements necessary to perform the functions of this position successfully.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, management, or business related field is required.
Experience
• Minimum 5 years’ applicable process improvement experience with demonstrated successes required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership role, including demonstrated success with multi-person or cross functional team leadership required.
• Knowledge of process improvement tools and techniques and leading cross functional teams required.
• Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of organizational leadership and work on all types of efforts (technical/non-technical, process, performance) in any organizational department required.
• Financial acumen - ROI analysis preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
• Lean Six Sigma preferred.
